Meaning of network topology (star and hybrid)

 

Meaning of network topology is layout out of network...  I mean how the network gonna be setup

Examples of network topology-

There are many network topology like 

Bus

Star

Ring 

Mesh etc... 

But we talk about one of the most important and popular setup plan I mean popular topology because network topology is how the network gonna be setup

So ya let's get into star topology

In star topology

= every  node(computer) is connected to a central node hub or switch

= so centralized management exist

= it is scalable model... 

There are many disadvantage s of this topology 

=Like if central hub or switch got stopped working because of too much traffic then whole network gonna stop

=Due to hubs and switches it's cost gonna increase

Now let's discuss about 

What is hybrid topology??? 

So basically it's the mixture of all topology like bus, mesh ,star ,ring.. 

So let's see what are the application of hybrid topology
